

Born to George and Mardel Nichols on September 20, 1947. Everyone called him by his nickname, Nick, except his siblings who still called him Glen.
After graduating from West High School in 1966, Glen enlisted in the Navy from 1966 - 1970 stationed at Norfolk, VA. After honorable discharge, he went to work for National Cash Register (NCR) where he was their field service technician. He was also an entrepreneur having his own business, Nick's Rod and Reel Service Center, which he operated for 32 years before finally retiring. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and camping in his retirement.
He is survived by a foster daughter, Abigail Lennon, Harlan, IA, and his two Sisters, Jean Kay Martin, Davenport, IA, and Joyce Kay Schwartzkopf, Demorest, GA.
Glen was cremated and ashes were buried at Davenport Memorial Park, also known as Memorial Park Cemetery. He was a private individual and preferred to remain in people's memory from fun and lasting happy memories and did not wish to have a memorial service.
