

Gloria Bowker, 76, of Davenport, IA passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Genesis East Medical Center. Gloria was born the youngest child of William and Rannie (Stroud) McDine on February 25, 1945 in North Carolina. She was united in marriage to James Cook. She later married Michael Bowker. He preceded her in death on July 29, 2014. Gloria was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and enjoyed watching Nascar. She loved her HGTV decorating shows, shopping and her collection of cows. She had fun playing cards and visiting with her neighbors. Her family meant the world to her.
Survivors include her children; son, James (Renee) Cook; daughters, Dana Carlisle, Jenna (Ken) Edwards, Nicole (Craig) Leonard; grandchildren, Ashly (Ryan) Renard, Mitchell (Susie) Leonard, Tyler (Sarah) Leonard, James (Mikyla) Cook, Toni Cook, Jaemi Hartman, Christy (Ryan) Moreland, Nancy (Al) DeVan, Vince (Heather) Schotting, Bobby Schotting, Stephanie (Craig) Chuhra, Kinzie Schotting and Brooke Schotting; twenty five great-grandkids; brother, Harry McDine, special friend Paulette Leonard and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son in law, Curt Carlisle and two grandsons, Brandon Carlisle and Shawn Cook.
Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A family graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. Memorials may be left to ALS Association. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cunnick-collins.com. Inurnment will take place at Davenport Memorial Park.
