Harold J. Eriks

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Christ Family Church, 4601 Utica Ridge Road in Davenport. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Friday at the Runge Mortuary, 838 E. Kimberly Road in Davenport and at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. On January 19, 1950 he married Sara Van Wieren in Munster, Indiana. Mike owned and operated Superior Concrete in Davenport since 1976 and was a member of Christ Family Church. He will be most remembered for his passion for work, love for his family and his faith in God.

Survivors include his wife, Sara, and children Mary Eriks of Davenport and Bonnie Blair and Michael Eriks both of Bettendorf; grandchildren Todd and Joni Dykema, Jodi and Phil Anderson, Amy Kraft, Rachel and Brandon Morgan, and Lisa and Tom Campbell; eight great grandchildren, sister Martha Brands of Beecher, IL, sister-in-law Bertha Eriks, of Griffith, Indiana, and brother-in-law Wayne Elzinga of Griffith, Indiana;

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Leonard, Kenneth, and Ronald Eriks and a sister, Ann Mary Elzinga.
