Heather Marie Buckley

Heather Marie Buckley, 46, of East Moline, IL, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023 at University of Iowa Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Heather was born April 19, 1976, to Joseph and Joanne (Schintgen) Wolf in Evanston, IL. On December 2, 2000, she was united in marriage to Anthony Buckley. She worked as a Nurse’s Aide at several hospitals and nursing homes in the Waukegan, IL area. Heather was a very loving person who enjoyed helping people and had a lot of love to share with others. She enjoyed watching movies and painting sculptures. She also loved collecting owls and had a large collection. Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband, Anthony; sons, Aaron (Eboni) Buckley, DeShawn Buckley, Joshua Buckley, and Antonio Buckley, all of Waukegan, IL; daughter, Yolanda Buckley; 4 grandchildren; sister, Carla (Eric) Friday of San Antonio, TX; and father, Joseph Wolf. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joanne.
