Helen R. Pearson

Funeral services for Helen R. Pearson, 93, of Davenport will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 3834 Rockingham Rd., Davenport. The family will greet friends on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until service at the church. Interment will be at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Pearson passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016 surrounded by her family at her residence. Cunnick-Collins Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements. Helen Roseanna Kraus was born on November 23, 1922 in Napoleon, OH, the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Gomer) Kraus. On April 17, 1947, she married Donald C. Pearson in Davenport. He preceded her in death in 1993. Helen was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She also participated in the Davenport Bowling Association for 50 years and the Quad City Times 60 Plus Club. She is survived by her Children: Randall (fiancé Mary) Pearson of Venice, FL, Gary (fiancé Debbie) Pearson of Davenport, Timothy (Jennifer) Pearson of LeClaire, IA, Debra Pearson of Davenport; 6 Grandchildren: Thad (Cathy) Pearson of Petaluma, CA, Angela (Keith) Larsen of Ft. Worth, TX, Kelly (Chris) Bennett of Ft. Worth, TX, Heather Pearson of Davenport, Corey Pearson of LeClaire, IA, Piper Pearson of LeClaire; and 7 Great- Grandchildren: Alyssa, Jacob, Noah, Maya, Katelynn, Alexis, Jonah. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Asmus; and brothers, William Jr., Carl, Manuel, and Walter Kraus.
