

DAVENPORT —Henrietta “Henrie” Graham, 89, of Davenport passed away on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, comfortably at home with her family and beloved dog, Charlie. A celebration of life will be 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the Unitarian Church, 3707 Eastern Ave., Davenport. Memorials may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
Henrie was born Jan. 21, 1924, in Glasgow, Scotland, the daughter of Henry and Sarah Corrigan.
She was united in marriage to James “Bob” Graham Sr. on Aug. 8, 1942, in Bowling Green, Ohio.
She graduated from Ann Arbor High in Ann Arbor, Mich. She spent many years being an at-home mom for their six children before beginning a career in real estate working for four real estate agencies more than 33 years before retiring.
Henrie loved her family most of all and was proud of their accomplishments. She enjoyed cooking and baking for friends and family.
She is survived by daughter, Theresa M. (Thom) Kemp, Davenport; sons, James R. Jr. of Michigan, John L. (Becky), Oregon, Wis., Stephen A. of Michigan; Timothy B. (Cathy), Davenport; 13 grandchildren; 21 great- grandchildren; sisters, Kathleen “Kay” Green and Mary McGovern
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son; a granddaughter; three brothers; and a stepsister. May they all rest in peace. Henrie will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
