Howard "Noche" G. Keel, 78, of LeClaire, IA, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at ManorCare Health Services in Davenport, IA. A private family graveside service will be at the Rock Island Arsenal National Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.weertsfh.com
Noche was born March 19, 1942, to Howard and Josephine Keel in Davenport, IA. He proudly served his country in the U.S Navy during Vietnam. Noche worked as a Steel Worker for Sears Manufacturing and Sivyer Steel until retirement in 2000. On July 2, 1999, Noche was united in marriage to Vicki Hoos in Davenport. He was a member of the American Legion Buffalo Bill Post #347. Noche’s hobbies included Harley Davidson motorcycles and racing cars.
Noche will be missed by his wife, Vicki; children: Joe (Julie) Keel, Nicole Woodford, and Jennifer; step-children: Amy McGinnis and Jessica (Matthew) Logas; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings: Jerry (Norma) Keel, Sharon (Dave) Schlitter, Jo Marie Sparbel, Bobby Keel, Bob Murphy; parents-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd Hoos Jr; brothers-in-law, Kenny & Rick (Violet) Hoos; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Gary.
