Irene L. Stock

Irene L. Stock, 92, of Davenport, died Sunday, November 7, 2010 in Davenport. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 1:00 PM at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 5-8 pm at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.therungemortuary.com.

Irene was born February 10, 1919, the daughter of George and Amanda (Rearick) Stock. She retired from Bendix Corporation after many years of service. In her earlier years, Irene loved to travel; her greatest joy was raising her family having raised three of her grandchildren as her own kids. She will be deeply missed and was a true angel.

Those left to honor her memory include her children: Mauri (Linda) Sanders, James (Robin) Stock and Anthony Stock, all of Davenport, grandchildren: Andrea and Erica Sanders and Karen Owens and Sabrina Finch, four great grandchildren, special friend, Melanie Cain, Davenport and brothers, Russell Stock, LeClaire and Richard Stock, New Mexico. Her parents and several brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
