Iris V. Reeves, 95, formerly of Davenport, passed away August 29, 2011 in Naperville, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 3, 2011 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM, Friday, September 2, 2011 at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Davenport First Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Reeves was born on April 14, 1916 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of George and Mary (Winslow) Finnell. On May 29, 1938, she married Donald W. Reeves in Centerville, Iowa. He preceded her in death on March 29, 2000.
She was a homemaker and member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Davenport, where she served as organist for many years. Her hobbies included traveling, cooking, and baking.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Karen and Tim Spackey and son David Reeves and fiancée Vicki Laud, two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a sister Ila Shankster.
