

Isabel Rose Moses, 91, of Davenport passed away, peacefully, on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Following cremation, a committal service will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 11:30 AM at Rock Island National Cemetery. Those wishing to attend should meet at the Runge Mortuary at 10:45 AM. She was born June 30, 1920 in Emmet, Illinois, a daughter of George and Jennie (McSperrit) Quigley. On November 14, 1942 she married Robert E. Moses in Davenport. He preceded her in death on December 2, 2009.
Mrs. Moses had been employed by Genesis Health Care prior to her retirement. Her memberships included St. Mark Lutheran Church and King’s Daughters. She enjoyed cooking, bowling and spending time with her family.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law David and Ruth, Robert, Jr. (“Bobby”) and Darma, and Jon and Gina; grandchildren Chrissy, Billy, Amy, and Angie; and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister and several brothers.
Isabel’s family would like to thank the Good Samaritan Home for the many kindnesses shown to her family throughout Isabel’s stay. Their care is greatly appreciated.
