Jack Clifford Lueth, 85, of Cedar Rapids, IA passed away on April 1, 2024 at Northbrook Manor Care Center, Cedar Rapids, IA. Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Weerts Funeral Home. Private inurnment will take place at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Jack was born on February 12, 1939 in Davenport, IA to Carl and Rachel J. (Hughes) Lueth. He was united in marriage to Carol Ann (Murphy) Lueth on July 21, 1962. She preceded him in death on October 19, 2021. Jack was a heavy equipment operator and worked as an auto mechanic. He served in the National Guard in Fort Leonard Wood, MO from 1956-1957. He enjoyed stock car racing since he was 16 years old. He also loved fishing, camping, tinkering, snowmobiling, farming and spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed traveling as Hawaii being their favorite spot to visit. Jack loved his dogs, George and Bailey. Jack was never one to pass up a good doughnut or sweet treat.
Survivors include his children, Dale (Jeanne) Lueth, Shawn (Merri) Lueth; grandchildren, Amanda (Dan) Pammer, Nick (Libby) Lueth, Jacob (Kayla) Lueth, Ryan Lueth and Alex (Makenzie) Lueth; four great grandchildren and brother, John Lueth.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Carol, infant son, Charles, sister, Sharlette Stoltenberg and brothers, Bill and Mike Lueth.
