Jaclyn Suzanne Forgie, 40, of Davenport, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024 at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City. Cremation rites will be accorded. The Runge Mortuary assisted her family.
Jaclyn was born February 28, 1984 in Davenport, the daughter of Vernon Dale and Susan (Jehli) Forgie. She was last working at Hungry Hobo on Locust Street up until her illness.
She loved horror movies, playing cards, all types of music and dancing, chocolate, animals and had a heart of gold. She was known for her sarcastic, quirky sense of humor. She loved her big sister’s meatloaf as well.
Her message to those she loved was, “Live life to the fullest, and don’t look back.” May she rest in peace.
Those left to honor her memory include her special friend, John Bruce and his three sisters: Althea Bruce, Shirley Morrow and Anna Bruce along with a host of nieces and nephews.
