Jacqueline E. Baker

Jacqueline E. Baker, 84, of Davenport passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016 12:00 p.m. at Runge Mortuary. Jacqueline was born February 18, 1931 in Davenport, Iowa the daughter of Herman and Marguerit (Simmons) Timmerman. She was united in marriage to Allen F. Baker on April 2, 1949 in Davenport, Iowa. Family was very important to her and she always put others first. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, fishing and feeding birds and squirrels. Jacqueline was an artist who loved to draw and listen to music, bake and try her luck on the boat. She especially loved going to Hawkeye games with her husband. Those left to honor her memory include her children: Gary (Marlene) Baker, Princeton, Sherry Daurer, Princeton, Jeffrey Baker, Des Moines, Lisa Diaz, Walcott, Shawn Baker, Davenport, Bruce Baker, Davenport, Lance Baker, Davenport; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Dwayne Timmerman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen, daughters, Kathleen Rafferty and Cindy Baker, son, Roger Baker, and brother Richard Timmerman.
