James King, 67, of Blue Grass passed away Thursday January 5, 2012 at Genesis East Hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 10, 2012 at 11:30am at Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Monday January 9 from 4-8pm at Runge. Burial will be held at Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be left to children moose heart. He was born July 14, 1944 in Cedar Rapids Iowa. Son of Ruth Trembley. He was united in marriage to Ruth Ann Ross March 13, 1969 in Marion Iowa. James was employed as a printer for Fidlar Printing. He enjoyed playing cards. James was active in the Davenport Moose Club, and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed WWE World Wresting Entertainment and cowboy movies.

Those left to honor his memory are his wife Ruth, son Jeff (Shelie) of Lowden IA; daughter Jennifer (Brian) Griffin of Davenport, 6 grandchildren: Jessica, Michael, Maryah, Sheen, Cameron, and Tanner. A sister Evelyn Miller of Cedar Rapids.
