

Funeral services for Janice L. “Mom” Goldermann, 78, of Bettendorf will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the Cunnick-Collins Mortuary Chapel in Davenport. Burial will follow in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the mortuary from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15th. Mrs. Goldermann died on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.Janice Laura Heyden was born on September 1, 1937 in Rural Cedar County Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Laura (Sindt) Heyden. In April of 1954 she married Darrell L. Goldermann in Davenport. He preceded her in death in March of 1992. Mrs. Goldermann worked for many years as an industrial seamstress at the former Eldon Corporation in Davenport and also for Sears Awning Company.. She was a member of the Durant American Legion Women’s Auxiliary and also a long time member of the Durant Polka Club. She most especially enjoyed her title of Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma.She is survived by – 2 Daughters: Deborah (Tom) Hartley of Wilton, IA and Julie (Ken) Horinek of Kearney, MO; 3 Sons: John (Glenna) Goldermann and Dale Goldermann both of Bettendorf, and Duane (Cheryl) Goldermann of Wilton; a Sister: Lauretta Giese of Fruitland, IA; 2 Brothers: John (Janet) Heyden of Davenport and Larry (Betty) Heyden of Seattle, WA; her Special Companion of many years: Duke Tyler and his family; 11 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren.Memorials may be directed to the University of Iowa Foundation / Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center in honor of Janice.
