Janine L. Labath

Janine Lou Labath, 65, of Davenport passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012 in Davenport. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm, Thursday, November 8, 2012 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be prior to the service on Thursday from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Labath was born October 20, 1947 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, a daughter of Calvin and Noelle (Miville) Harris. On July 2, 1965 she married Dale Labath in Davenport.

She volunteered for over twenty five years for the Bix 7. An avid Hawkeye fan, she enjoyed dining out and vacationing with family and friends, scrapbooking, playing cards and fishing with Dale, knitting for the hospital, and attending the dirt track races of her nephews. Her favorite times were those spent with her grandchildren. She was always busy doing for others.

Survivors include her husband, Dale; children and spouses Shane and Kristina Labath of Bettendorf, Brad Labath and David Donahue of Venice, Florida; Shelly and Chris Kuehlem of Montgomery, Illinois, stepson Scott and Jen Labath of Marion, Iowa; grandchildren Craig, Brandon, and Brooke Labath, Bill, Mykel, and Kaylyn Fowler, Roenic Natarelli, Seth DeClerck, Aiden Kuehlem, and Emily, Troy, and Sammy Labath; five great grandchildren; her mother, Noelle Harris; siblings and spouses Allen and Karen Harris, Arlene and Mike Wallace, Maddy Jared, Dale Harris, Denny and Barb Harris, Jay and Angie Harris, Teresa Harris, Melisa Harris, Amanda Harris, and Christina Harris, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.
