Jean Schneider, 92, of Wilton, Iowa, formerly of Davenport, passed away Monday, July 17, 2017. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Jean was born to Walter and Jean. She married Bill Schneider in 1946. Jean worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She enjoyed golfing, bridge, music and shopping.
Jean was a member of Newcomb Presbyterian Church, Ruth Circle, and the Elks Lodge.
Those left to honor Jean’s memory are her children, Linda (Tom) Souhrada and Bill (Marilyn) Schneider: grandchildren, Jake (Karie) Souhrada, Luke (Krista) Souhrada, Sheri (Steve) Farrell and Bill Schneider, Jr.: great-grandchildren, Peyton, Cade, Tyler, and Kyle Souhrada and Shawn and Samantha Farrell; brother-in-law, George Carlson; her loyal dog, Buddy, and many longtime friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, loving husband, and sister, Joan Carlson.
