Jeffery Lee Struck, 62, of Davenport, crossed life’s checkered flag on Saturday, June 21, 2025. A visitation will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at The Runge Mortuary and Crematory Davenport, Iowa. A celebration of life will follow, after his last lap around the track, at the Starlight Ballroom in the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds. Everyone attending is encouraged to wear their racing or Green Bay Packers attire. In addition, you are encouraged to drive your classic cars, motorcycles or race cars to the visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to the family.
Jeff was born in Rock Island, IL on July 30, 1962. He was the son of Walter and Donna (Lee) Struck. He met the love of his life, Peggy Louck while at a dirt track racing event and they married, October 31, 1981, in Rock Island.
He worked for Sears Manufacturing from 1987 until his retirement in 2022.
Jeff had many passions in his life. They included classic cars, NASCAR, Iowa Hawkeyes, Green Bay Packers, and Harley Davidsons, but, most important to him, dirt track racing at the Davenport Speedway. Jeff was an avid animal lover, especially his dogs, Thelma and Louise
Those left to honor his memory include his wife of 43 years, Peggy, his children, Jeffery Jr. (Melisa) Struck, Mary Struck, Robert (Bree) Struck, Shawn Struck all of Davenport; grandchildren: Shawna and Ralph Brasch; Brett, Kinidi and Abel Struck; Jace Kitzman, Reid McMahon, Makenna and Jaxon Struck; siblings: Ann Anderson, MO, Tracy (Jim) Reed, Wendy (Tim) Struck, Randy Struck and Kristy Struck (fiancée, Tunney Jordan and numerous cousins including Robin Wolf (husband Dave, dec., ) and nieces and nephews. His parents preceded him in death.
