Jeffrey G. Haley

He was born August 14, 1960 in Rock Island, IL, the son of Victor and Marie (Plunkett) Haley. He attended the Rock Island Schools and then went to work for his father as a painter, later going out on his own.

He loved to garden, especially flowers and vegetables. He also enjoyed decorating and re-decorating. Jeffrey loved to travel especially to the Caribbean, but, his greatest time was spent in New Orleans, his second home.

Jeff loved to have a great time and spent many weekends going to “the cabin” in Thomson, IL. He was an avid pet lover and loved “the little girl” Poochie.

Those left to cherish his memory include his partner and love of his life for twenty-three years, Scott Clizbe and his two brothers and two sisters and their families; his sisters: Gay A. (George) Moyers, Centreville, Alabama and Nancy (Dan) Moyers, Rock Island, IL and their families. His parents were there with open arms to meet him, having anxiously awaited his arrival.
