Jeremiah Satterwhite-Aurthur

Jeremiah Satterwhite-Aurthur, 5, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2020, surrounded by his loving family, at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport, IA. Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, October 10, at Weerts Funeral Home in Davenport. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the services, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Saturday, October 10, at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Pinehill Cemetery in Davenport. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Jeremiah was born to Shatysia Aurthur on October 3, 2014, in Davenport, IA. He was raised in St. Louis, MO. Jeremiah attended Stricly Peds Schooling there and enjoyed the special care received from Krysta Braun, Ellen Girresch, and all the other nurses. He loved being around his family and spending time with them, watching Pegga Pig on YouTube, going on long car rides, and just being in the middle of family & friend events.

Jeremiah is survived by his mom, Shatysia Aurthur; siblings: Faith & Ja’lyiah; his special Uncle, Gus Nance; grandparents: Shawn & Chantea Satterwhite; great grandparents: Augustin & Magarie Clarke, Keith Aurthur; other family, Nita Morgan; and a host of uncles, aunties, cousins, and siblings. He was preceded in death by great great grandparents Emma L. Tatum, Earl & Georgetta Conners, and an uncle, Rayshawn Satterwhite.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Recover Health in Davenport, Univeristy of Iowa Children’s Hospital, Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, and Jeremiah’s special caregivers, Breona Williams, Shania Martin Johnson and Paul & Jan Wilkin.
