

Jeremy Brandon Cook (aka Bear), 41, husband and father extraordinaire, was called home to the Lord unexpectedly on April 11, 2016 in Wauwatosa, WI. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the Runge Mortuary, Davenport, IA. Visitation will be Saturday from 11 am until the service at 2 pm, at the mortuary. Jeremy was born April 21st 1974 in Washburn, WI. He grew up with a love for machines and speed which greatly influenced his chosen career path. After graduating from Washburn High School and Madison Area Technical College, he continued his education through the University of Wisconsin resulting in his career as a Master Technician for Chrysler. He was employed by Schlossmann Auto Group in Brookfield, WI at the time of his death.
Jeremy met and married the love of his life, Carly Elizabeth Stoakes of Davenport, Iowa, and with her, created his beautiful family of sons. He was an awesome father, nothing was more important to him than his wife and boys. His slightly-warped sense of humor and love for life made for a lot of fun and great adventures in their lives.
Jeremy had a great interest in music and was a percussionist. He loved living in the Davenport area with its rich history of music and art. He was a man of great passions and embraced life wholeheartedly. He will be sadly missed by all and will leave a large void in lives of many people.
Jeremy is survived by his wife, Carly; sons: Croix (8), Theron (4), and Leo (2); parents David and Sharon Cook, Washburn, WI; sister, Jamie (Cook) Welch; nephews: Shea Burmeister, Philip Thompson, and Greyson Welch; aunt and uncle, Janice and Donald Richardson; aunt, Carole Cook; aunt and uncle, Gloria and Larry Arnson; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Cathy and Jim Stoakes, Davenport; brother-in-law, Tyler Stoakes; numerous cousins and other extended family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
