Jeremy Michael Fickel, 33, of Eldridge, IA passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 after a courageous 14 year daily battle with epilepsy. After a strong battle with epilepsy the disease won.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Eldridge United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2019 at the church. Memorials may be made to the family for funeral expenses. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

Jeremy was born on February 25, 1986 to Michael and Kaia (Spear) Fickel in Davenport, IA. His family and friends were very important to him and he truly loved them. He valued life and lived it to the fullest. He was a member of the Epilepsy Foundation of the Quad Cities, bringing awareness.

Jeremy enjoyed the outdoors, riding his bike and spending time with his friends and family. He liked to listen to music and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother and stepfather, Kaia (Richard) Hudson; brother, Jesse (Christie) Inman; stepsister, Melissa (Scott) Noll; stepbrother, Richard (Heather) Hudson Jr.; uncle, Jeff Spear; aunt, Mary (Dave) Smith; and numerous other family and friends.

He was welcomed home in loving arms by his dad, Mike and grandparents.
