Jerry L. Hatch

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Jerry L. Hatch, 50, of Davenport will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary chapel in Davenport. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the mortuary. Cremation rites have been accorded. Jerry passed away in Rock Island, IL on Friday, October 21, 2016 following an automobile accident. Jerry Lee Hatch was born on November 16, 1965, a son of Lawrence and Sharolyn (Bryant) Hatch. He worked for 13 years as a licensed CDL driver for Straight Shot Trucking in Davenport. Jerry was a very hard worker and devoted to helping his family. He believed a penny saved, is a penny earned. He enjoyed going to yard sales, thrift stores, and getting together with family. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and rock hunting. Jerry was an accomplished guitar player, and also excelled at inventing and building things. He had an amazing mind. He is survived by his Mother: Sharolyn Clark of Davenport; Siblings: Penny Clark, Pam Olson, Lawrence (Glenda) Hatch Jr., Terry Hatch Sr., all of Davenport; Nieces: Amanda Short, Ashley Short, Sarah Hatfield; Nephews: Richard Clark, William Clark, Kenneth Clark, Larry Hatch, Terry Hatch, Jr., Matthew Hatch, Mark Hatch, Russell Hatch, Andy Olson, Darren Olson. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Hatch Sr.
