Jerry was born December 19, 1942 in Davenport, IA to Harold & Irena (Bennett) Kelley. He was united in marriage to Sue Edvenson on June 12, 1976 in Rock Island, IL. Jerry enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and boating. In recent years he volunteered with the Quad City Conservation Alliance popping popcorn for events.
His grin was wide and infectious, and his cricket chirp could be heard through any crowd. Jerry had an eye for detail and could repair nearly anything. He worked as a dental technician for more than 40 years, crafting teeth for crowns. He restored gas engines and showed them at antique fairs around the Midwest, built all kinds of models, and collected odd ball treasures. His most recent restoration was a rocking horse turned into a glittery unicorn for granddaughter, Sydney.
Survivors include his wife Sue Kelley; son Elliot (Sarah) Kelley; granddaughter Sydney Kelley; older twin sister Janet Mack; brother-in-law Roger (Peg) Edvenson; and other extended family and friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Larry and Otis.
