Jill Renee Koprucki

Jill Renee Koprucki, 61, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at her residence. Cremation rites have been accorded and a gathering in celebration of her life will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Bettendorf Community Center, 2204 Grant St, Bettendorf, IA 52722. Jill was born on September 11, 1962 in Davenport, IA to parents Delores (Daugherty) and Eugene Fosdyck. She graduated from Bettendorf High School and went on to attend cosmetology schooling. Her time in the workforce was unfortunately cut short by a diagnosis with a rare type of cancer. Jill had an unshakable will to continue on despite all odds. She survived cancer two times and, in the process, helped further research on the rare type she had.

On Christmas Eve of 2013, Jill married Joe Koprucki at First Assembly Church in Bettendorf. They enjoyed watching college football together and particularly enjoyed rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes. In Jill’s spare time, she found joy in completing arts and crafts projects.

Above all, Jill valued faith and felt compelled to help others in their journeys of faith. She had a loving demeanor and held a special place in her heart for all animals.

Those left to carry on Jill’s memory, include her loving husband, Joe Koprucki; son, Phillip Fosdyck and his partner, Amanda Miller, and her brother, Bruce Fosdyck.

Jill was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Brett Fosdyck.
