JoAnne graduated from Davenport High and attended Marycrest College, studying voice. She was a very talented soprano and sang at many venues and events in the Quad Cities in her early life. She later worked for Northwestern Bell, Wonder Hostess, Peter Pan and Bishop’s Restaurant. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and cooking.

She is survived by her children: Suzanne (Randy) Winters, Davenport; Rich (Kathy) Erickson, Kuna, Idaho; and Barbara (Steve) Markham, Davenport; grandchildren Alaina (Matt) Blaum, Brittany Winters, Ashley (Kevin) Mayhugh, and Christopher and Michael Markham; great grandchildren Emma, Zoë, and Jack Blaum and one on the way; sisters Carol (Leroy) Long, Davenport, and Beverly Rosokoff, New York; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A sister, Jeanne Ridenour, and her parents preceded her in death.

“When I draw my last breath, start a new day and go on”. May she rest in peace.
