Joellen M. Hotle, 87, of Davenport, Iowa passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am Monday, December 4, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00 pm Sunday, December 3, 2017 at the Runge Mortuary. Memorials may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church. Online tributes and condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Joellen was born October 4, 1930 in Keota, Iowa to Albert and Edna (Smith) Ollinger. She was united in marriage to Arthur L. Hotle on December 31, 1952. He preceded her in death, December 23, 2014. Joellen was a 50 year member of T.T.T and enjoyed square dancing and playing bridge. Her passion was sewing and baking cookies. Above all, family meant the world to Joellen and she loved spending time with her 4 daughters. Those left to honor her memory included her daughters: Marla (Mark) Mernitz - Eau Claire, WI, Polly (Kirk) Graham - Davenport, IA, Libby (Brian) Pantzlaff - Omaha, NE, Amanda (Todd) Green -Buffalo, MN; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
