John Lee Cesar

John Lee Cesar, 63, of Davenport, passed away Monday, August 31, 2026. Per his request, cremation rites will be provided. A Celebration of life will be Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 1 pm at Beertini’s in Davenport. In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to King’s Harvest Pet Rescue.

John was born April 19, 1963, in Davenport to Richard and Gloria (Arvey) Cesar. John married Brigitte Ann Dahl on January 29, 1988, in Davenport.

He retired in 2025 from the Local Union IBEW45.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Brigitte, Davenport; children: Jacqueline Graham, Summerville, SC; Cory (Nicole) Cesar, Blue Grass; grandchildren: Danity, Cayden, Landen, Maxen and Ava; brothers-in-law: Brian (Linda) Dahl and Brad (Regina) Dahl; sister-in-law, Brandy (Donald) Harland; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; newly discovered sisters, Kris, Kim and Kelly; and beloved cat, Missy.

In addition to his parents and grandparents, John was preceded in death by is in-laws, Fred and Shirley Dahl; brother-in-law, Bruce Dahl; Uncle, William Helmel; several aunts and other extended family members, and fur-babies Otto, Maggie and Larry.
