Johnette E. Paget, 89, of Bettendorf, formerly of LeClaire, Iowa went home to her Lord and Savior surrounded by her family on Tuesday February 27, 2018. A Funeral service will be held 10:00a.m. on Wednesday, March7, 2018 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held 4:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the mortuary. Burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Senior Star or Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Johnette was born on September 30, 1928 in Monmouth, Iowa to Lee and Mildred (Dostal) Ripperton. She was united in marriage to Harold Paget on March 9, 1946 in Bettendorf, Iowa. He passed away in 2010. Johnette was very involved with her church where she led the Friday Night Sing monthly, for many years. She was an amazing Sunday school teacher and played piano and organ for her church. She would also volunteer to give tours for the Buffalo Bill Museum in LeClaire, Iowa. Aside from all of that, she still found time to run in the Bix, go fishing, hiking, biking and water aerobics. Those left to celebrate her memory include her children: Cindy (Steve) Zarley, Bettendorf, David (Leslie Conroy) Paget, Moline, Steve (the late Gloria) Paget, Bettendorf; sister, Eloise (Phil) Caldwell, Davenport; brother, Carl (Laura) Ripperton, Memphis, TN; grandchildren: Gary, Julie, Monica, Shana, Jason, Amy; thirteen great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, and her loving husband, Harold.
