Juanita Merle Anderson Yeager

Juanita M. Yeager, 87, of Davenport, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the Davenport Lutheran Home. No visitation or services are scheduled. Private burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Scott County. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

She was united in marriage to Robert W. Yeager on October 22, 1948 in Davenport. She had been employed as a personnel aide for the State of Iowa for fifteen years prior to her retirement in 1982. Her memberships included Nite-o-Gap and the Red Hat Society. She loved gardening and her dog, Augie.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Robert; children: Kathleen A. Schroeder; Lynn S. Peters and Ron S. (Lisa) Yeager; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a sister, Laura Peterson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Lola Anderson, and brothers and sisters.

Juanita was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was greatly loved and will be missed very much.
