Judy Ann Yezerski

Judy Ann Yezerski, 68, of Blue Grass passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. Funeral service will be held 11:30AM Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held Monday 5-8 p.m. at the mortuary. Burial will be in Pleasant Hills Cemetery Cincinnati, IA. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Judy was born November 14, 1945 in Centerville, Iowa the daughter of Clarence Delbert and Dorothy Mae (Shaw) Cornett.

Judy had been a pastor for many years with the Pentecostal Evangelical Church. She served as the associate pastor at Fellowship Temple for many years and had more recently been a member of Truth Deliverance Church Davenport. Judy was a very devoted mother & grandmother who will be deeply missed by all.

Those left to honor her memory include her children: Jeannie (Todd) Peterson, Blue Grass, Bobbi (Ted) Harter, Davenport, Crystal Hemm, Thomson, IL, Faith Capps, Davenport, Theresa (Frank) Barbeau, Cedar Falls, Iowa, George Harwell, Davenport, Curtis Carroll, Davenport; 15 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister, Marge Barber, Centerville, Iowa; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 children, James and Sheila; brothers, Hank, Bobby, Jerry, and Rick Cornett; sister, Betty Dawson.

One of the last things Judy shared was “I will be waiting for you on the streets of gold.”
