Julianne O. Cage, 79, of Texas, died Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Crest Health Care Center in Davenport, IA. Per her request, cremation rites were accorded. A private inurnment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso, TX.
Julianne was born June 19, 1932 in El Paso, TX, the daughter of Barney and Helen (Hargrove) Oden. She married James Cage in 1960 in El Paso, TX; he preceded her in death.
Julianne was a long-time resident of El Paso and taught for the El Paso school district for over thirty-five years prior to her retirement.
Those left to honor her memory include her children: Debra Wood, Davenport; John (Lynn) Cage, Garland, TX; James (Susan) Cage Jr., Martha’s Vineyard, MA; Annette (Arnold) Zach, Minnesota; grandchildren: Douglas and Lauren Wood, William and Ryan Zach, Maria (Dale) Young, RJ and John David Cage and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her parents, sisters: Altanell Neece and Rosemary Eckhart; brother, Barney Oden Jr. and her son, William “Bill” Cage preceded her in death
