Cremation will be done with a gathering of friends and family to be held 12:00pm to 2:00pm Friday, January 6, 2023 at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery Davenport. A celebration of life will be held 3:00pm Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Thirsty’s on 3rd. Memorials may be made to the family and condolences can be shared at www.rungemortuary.com.
Kai was born August 29, 1970 in Moline, IL to Charles & Jeanne (Sargeant) Brown. He was united in marriage to Stephanie Cooper on October 6, 2007 in Davenport, IA. Kai had been employed for the last 15 years with Davenport UPS.
His outgoing personality, contagious smile, and love for laughter suited him well for his second job as a bartender at Thirsty’s on 3rd. Kai’s loves were his Harley and most of all his family.
Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Brown; children, Ian Kai Brown, Noah Eric Brown, Chad Cooper, Jessica Coulbourn, & Ashley Cooper; 10 Grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; 2 brothers, Kris (Debra) Brown & Kori (Deveri) Brown; along with numerous nieces & nephews.
Kai was preceded in death by his parents, and faithful companion, Chumlee, his bulldog.
