Kara L. Humphreys-Cluff

Kara Lynn Humphreys-Cluff, 42, of Davenport passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 17, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be 12:30pm until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.

She was born January 8, 1970 in Davenport, IA the daughter of Michael and Sandy (Harkins) Humphreys. She was a 1988 graduate of Davenport West High. Kara was a life-long CNA and most recently was employed at Medical Staffing Network.

Kara Lynn Humphreys was united in marriage to Jeffery Cluff on February 14, 2012 in Bettendorf, Iowa. She enjoyed reading, playing computer games, kayaking and spending time with her family and friends.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, 5 sons: Kory, Shawn, Noah, Andrew and Alex; parents, Sandy and Phil Schott, Calamus, IA; mother-in-law, Louise Cluff, Davenport; sisters; Julie Humphreys, Davenport, Valerie (Brian) Olson, Taylor Ridge, IL; special nieces and nephews, Kirsten Otts, Macellen and Michiel Humphreys; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father Michael Humphreys and brother, Tracy Humphreys. Paternal grandparents Tracy and Gatha Humphreys and maternal grandparents Robert and Dolores Harkins.
