A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Adventure Christian Community Church, with a celebration of her life to follow until 3:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.
Karen was born a daughter of Eugene and Opal (Miller) Sanders on September 12, 1951 in Davenport, IA. She was united in marriage to Craig Sambdman on December 19, 1970. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Karen loved her family, children and grandchildren very much, especially her dog, Angel. She was a member of Adventure Christian Community Church and volunteered for many years at Winnie’s Wishes. She also enjoyed playing Bingo.
Those honoring her memory are her loving husband of almost 49 years, Craig Sambdman of Davenport, IA; sons, Todd (Diane) Sambdman of Davenport, IA and Cory (Paul) Sambdman of Davenport, IA; twin brother, Ken (Vickie) Sanders of Moline, IL; sister, Dorothy (Danny) Vaughn of Bettendorf, IA; grandchildren: Jenna, Ally, Haley, Blake and Ayden; and numerous great grandchildren.
