Katharine "Kathy" S. Lindle

Katharine “Kathy” S. Lindle, 63, of Bettendorf, IA, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport, IA. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, April 17, at Weerts Funeral Home in Davenport. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in memory of Kathy. (501 St. Jude Place • Memphis, TN 38105). Online condolences may be expressed at www.weertsfh.com. Kathy was born September 3, 1957, to Archibald and Maria Emerson in Chicago, IL. She graduated from East Moline United Township High School. After graduation, Kathy worked as a receptionist at various medical offices in the Quad Cities. On September 26, 1981, Kathy was united in marriage to Craig Lindle in East Moline. In her free time, she enjoyed anything involving a beach and mushroom hunting with her kids. Most of all, Kathy loved being a mom and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Kathy will be missed by her husband, Craig; children: Justin (Nikki) Lindle and Derek Lindle; grandchildren: Henry, Harley, and Chloe; her mom, Maria; and her siblings, Bob (Laura) Emerson and John Emerson. She was preceded in death by her dad; and sister, Patti Long.

Craig, Justin and Derek, I worked with Kathy at Dr. Lagone's. I am sadden to hear about Kathy, my sympathies to the family. I know she will be missed. I remember the stories she used to tell me about Chloe and I always had to laugh at her adventures.
