Katherine was born December 31, 1940 in Davenport, IA to Norman & Bernice (Stock) Kleppe. She was united in marriage to Ronald H. Allchin on September 9, 1961 in Davenport, IA. He preceded her in death in 1987. Katherine had spent her life caring for others as a nurse’s aide until her retirement in 2004. She enjoyed her bowling leagues, working in her yard, and supporting her grandchildren & great grandchildren in all their activities.

Katherine is survived by her two daughters Bambi (Glen Boyd) Dodds and Ronda (Brad) Cox; grandchildren Jenny (Jason) Dormire, Tabitha (Josh) Anderson, Rachel (Brandon) Eiselstein, Nicole Dodds, Amanda (Jessie) Flohr, & Jessica (Chris) Cox; and 17 great grandchildren.

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Drew Dodds, Sister Judy Paulsen, and brother Keith Kleppe.
