Kathleen Deitz, 84, of Davenport passed away Monday, July 3, 2017 at her home. Following cremation, a private burial will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Scott County. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.
Mrs. Deitz was the only child of Roxy and Marie (Suring) Young. On September 20, 1958 she married Wilfred L. Deitz in Bettendorf. He preceded her in death in 1972.
She was employed at Rock Island Arsenal for 37 years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include sons, Craig (Quilla), Eric (Sharon) and Merle (Theresa); four grandchildren: Nathan, Sarah, Charles and Kelly and one great grandchild.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and son, Paul.
