Kathleen “Kat” I. McNeal, 62, of Davenport, IA, passed away on Thursday, September 15th, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at Select Specialty Hospital. Arrangements are pending at Weerts Funeral Home in Davenport, IA.
Kathleen was born on October 31, 1959, to Clarence Tony McNeal and Lillie (Patterson) Taylor in Iowa City, Iowa. She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, cooking and fishing. Kathleen was a loving mother, sister, friend and grandmother. She will be remembered most by her outstanding sense of humor.
Kathleen will be missed by her children; Jonathan McNeal, Shantia McNeal and Darshanda McNeal; a host of grandchildren; sisters: Benita (Donnie) Bates, Debra McNeal and Carla (Mark) Spears; brothers: Clarence Tony McNeal Jr., William McNeal, and James (Kim) McNeal; and her mother Lillie McNeal-Taylor. She was proceeded in death by her father, Clarence Tony Sr.; granddaughter Azriel McNeal; brother, Lloyd Patterson; sister Almeda Hardy; grandmother Linea Patterson and her favorite Aunt Sarah McNeal.
