I had the pleasure of getting to know her shortly before she passed, and she was such a beautiful woman. The stories she would tell about her younger days were such an inspiration. Her family was very important to her, and she couldn't have had better children to love and support her. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Steve, Scott, Kelly and Family,
     Aunt Kay was a wonderful aunt and always held a smile for our family when we would visit. I have treasured memories of coming to her home as a child and adult, and she was always made me feel special and welcome.  The memories that I hold most dear are the times we spent to together at family reunions. Even when I stepped in the gravy bowl, or threw a spoonful of mashed potatoes at Kelly, she never seemed to get angry.  
      My last visit with her was a memory I will never forget.  I got to share her magical box, with letters from her mom to her mother in the early 20's.  We shared something so special that day, as she had never read them, and let me read them to her.  We looked at pictures from the old home place she and my dad (Morris) lived as children and used to play with ficka birds near a tree at the end of the lane.  
     Family, is so important to me, Aunt Kay was and always will be a part of my heart & family, and I am so thankful I was blessed to be a part of hers. I will miss her dearly, but know that we will all be together again. 
     May you find comfort in the special memories she held with each of you, Steve & Jan, Scott and Kelly and her grandchildren that she loved so dearly.  
     Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers during this dificult time and the days ahead.

I have wonderful childhood memories that I  hold close to my heart, of all the times we spent with you, Aunt Kay, and Uncle Jack at family dinners and visits to Davenport. Kay was a wonderful Aunt, I loved her dearly, she will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy to you at this most difficult time.
