Kellie Lin Saddler, 52, of Davenport, IA was born on August 9th, 1971, in South Bend, IN, to Robert Jackson and Linda Bryant. Kellie passed away on Friday, July 5th, 2024, surrounded by her family at Genesis East Medical Center.
Kellie grew up in Niles, MI. As a child, she began her personal faith journey with the Lord. She loved sports, hanging out with friends, and spending time with her grandparents. She had a passion for athletics and played several sports, however she loved playing basketball the most. Kellie graduated from Niles High School in 1989. She attended Vogue Beauty College and later owned Snipz Hair Studio. Kellie was united in marriage to LeShane Saddler on August 1st, 1998, in Iowa City, IA.
Kellie was a loving mother and wife. Known to her children’s friends as “Mama Saddler” she was a mom to everyone. She was the biggest cheerleader for her children; she loved watching Kalen play soccer and Shaylee participate in dance and cheer competitions. She was always a mom first but did have a love for beauty and shopping. Kellie had a love for nature and all that was in it, whether it was spending time gardening or caring for animals, but only after she had her first cup of coffee in the morning.
She was preceded in death by Ellis and Martha Bryant and Keith and Katie Jackson.
Survivors include her loving husband LeShane of Davenport, IA; children, Kalen (Eryn) Saddler of South Bend, IN, and Shaylee Saddler of Davenport, IA; grandchildren, Lukah and Averie; parents, Linda (Norb) Dieterle of South Bend, IN and Robert (Sandy) Jackson of Niles, MI; brother, Brandon (Shara) Jackson of South Bend, IN; in-laws, Doris Saddler of Waterloo, IA; Obie Saddler (Rosalie) of Waterloo, IA; a host of nieces and nephews that she loved so dearly and her furry friends, Charlie, Vinny and Stella.
A Celebration of life service will be held on August 3rd from 2-5 PM at Granger Community Church – Elkhart Campus, 2701 E Bristol St, Elkhart, IN 46514
