Kenneth J. May, Jr., 62, of Bettendorf passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Genesis East. Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Friday, November 5, 2010 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Thursday, with a prayer service at 7 pm. Burial will be in Maysville Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.rungemortuary.com.
Mr. May was born December 22, 1947 in Amarillo, Texas, the son of Kenneth J. (Sr.) and Georgia (Howard) May. He was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army and was employed for 25 years at Alcoa prior to his retirement.
Survivors include his father, Kenneth J. May, Sr.; brothers Rodney (Bonnie Beth) May, Jody (Phyllis) May, and Jeffrey May; son Christopher (Ashley) May, daughter Dana (Richard) Burns; and grandchildren Connor, Madison, Candice, Blaise, and Lance.
