Kenneth W. Snyder, 83, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Davenport First Church of the Nazarene. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Friday at the Runge Mortuary. Burial will be private. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. On November 16, 1964 he married Marriett Springsteen in Silvis, IL. Mr. Snyder was employed by the Milwaukee Railroad for 35 years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of the First Nazarene Church in Davenport where he served on the board. He enjoyed remodeling homes and helping others in need.
Survivors include his wife, Marriett; children, Mark, Debbie, Rita, and Diane; grandchildren, Danny, Nathan, Shawn, Collin, Blake, Andy, Tommy, Kevin, Kortney, Drake and Dillon; numerous great grandchildren; and one sister, Evelyn. He was preceded in death by children, Joy, Jerry and Rocky and three sisters.
