

Funeral services for Kenneth E. Williams, 70, of Davenport will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary chapel in Davenport. The family will greet friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening at the mortuary. Interment will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Williams passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Genesis Medical Center – East Campus, Davenport. Kenneth Everett Williams was born on June 4, 1947 in Davenport, the son of Everett and Eleanor (Barth) Williams. On August 10, 1968 he married Candyce K. Wilkins in Davenport. He worked for 31 years at Oscar Mayer, and also at Auto-Ron’s. Following his retirement from Oscar Mayer, he owned and operated Classic Collectibles and later Ken’s Lawn Care. Ken was actively involved in stock car, snow mobile, and go-kart racing. He promoted go-kart racing in Mt. Joy and at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds. He is survived by his Wife: Candy Williams of Davenport; Daughter: Kenlyn (Montrece Ware) Crouch of Davenport; Son: Kevin (Brandi) Williams of Bettendorf; Sister: Refa Kay Hollon of Davenport; Brother: Ronald (Gloria) Williams of Davenport; Special Nephew: Scott (Teresa) Williams of Davenport; and 4 Grandsons: Jacob Crouch, Kole Williams, Rylee Crouch, Kasey Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be directed to the family.
