Kent Leeroy Roe

Kent L. Roe “Buns”, 54, of Buffalo, IA passed away August 23, 2012 at Gunderson Lutheran Health Center, La Crosse, WI. Funeral services will be 10AM Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery Buffalo, IA. Kent was born August 24, 1957 in Davenport, IA to Leslie & Ida (Kelly) Roe. He married Donna Anderson in 1980 and they had one son Jacob. They later divorced. Kent worked for over 30 years at Cenex Harvest States where he was a supervisor. Kent served on the Buffalo City Council, Buffalo Fire Dept., and had coached little league.

Kent lived his life the way he liked and didn’t care what other people thought. He loved camping, fishing, hunting, football, & riding his motorcycle. A couple of his favorite lines were “I am Kent Roe from Buffalo” and “right arm, left leg, right elbow” which made everyone laugh.

Survivors include a son Jacob, Davenport; 1 brother Adam Roe, Blue Grass, IA; 2 sisters Sue Moore, Bennett, IA and Linda Morgan, NC; Several nieces & nephews; and a special friend Trenia Cheatheam.

Kent was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers Leslie, Enoch, & George; and a sister Nancy.
