Kimberly was born May 26, 1956, the daughter of Eva Kelly, in Chicago, IL. On February 10, 1997 she was united in marriage to Kevin Benner. Kimberly received her LPN certification from Blackhawk College and was employed for St. Mary’s.
Kimberly was kind hearted and had a passion for nursing and helping people. She also loved to go shopping. More than anything she adored her grandchildren and the time she spent with them.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Amy Garvey, Charles Garvey, and Nathaniel Rockwood; grandchildren: Darius (LeeAnn) Rockwood, Treasure Rockwood, Heaven Garvey and Mason Garvey; 8 great grandchildren; and sister, Donna May.
