Kimberly A. Matejcek

Memorial services for Kimberly Matejcek, 46, of Davenport will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary chapel in Davenport. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the mortuary. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be at a later date. Ms. Matejcek passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at her residence. Kimberly Ann Matejcek was born on September 18, 1967 in Owatonna, MN, the daughter of Charles and Kathy (Storlie) Matejcek. She was an avid Dale Earnhardt Jr., Minnesota Vikings, and St. Louis Cardinals fan. Kim was also a breast cancer survivor. She is survived by her Mother: Kathy (Oren) Olson of Cloquet, MN; her Father: Charles Matejcek of Davenport; three Daughters: Heather (Eric) Metcalf of Clermont, FL, Amber Sexton of Davenport, Autumn Twigg of East Moline, IL; her Boyfriend: David Smith of Davenport; Siblings: Karen (Brian Bane) Matejcek of Matherville, IL, Kelly (Danny) Hagberg of Wapello, IA, Charles (Paula) Matejcek of Davenport; and 6 Grandchildren: Dawson, Delaney, Deacon, Drayden, Delia, and Damon Metcalf. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and a niece, Lydia. Memorials may be directed to the family.
