Kyle Donovan Perrin, 33, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on February 24, 2026. Kyle was cherished and beloved by all who knew him, and his absence leaves a profound quiet in the lives of those who loved him most.
Kyle was born May 18, 1992 to parents Edie and Rod. He went on to graduate from North Scott High School. From early on, Kyle found joy in the simple, meaningful things—time with the people he cared about, good food, and the kind of laughter that comes easiest when you’re surrounded by family.
Kyle loved working as a chef in various restaurants, most recently at Bluebird Diner in Iowa City, IA. He learned cooking from his dad, grandma, and aunt, and he carried that knowledge with pride and heart into every kitchen he stepped into.
Outgoing and selfless, Kyle was the kind of person who made gatherings better just by being there. He always enjoyed being around family and friends, having BBQs and enjoying pool time together. He enjoyed all kinds of music and loved watching the Cubs and the Steelers.
Those left to honor Kyle’s memory include his parents, Rod (Heather) Perrin and Edie (JT) Goins; siblings, Eric (Sara) Perrin, Dylan Wheeler, Andrea Orellana, Isabella Wheeler, Emma Hernandez, JJ Hernandez, Ava Perrin, and Isaiah Goins; grandpa, Jerry Perrin; special aunts and uncles, Corey Perrin, Stephanie Brown, Mimi (John) Rettler, George Cooper, and Mary Susa; and numerous beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Kyle was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sandra Perrin, Georgia Hildebrant, and Larry Hildebrant; aunt, Michelle Pfannenstiel, and uncle, Kai Brown.
Visitation will be held at Weerts Funeral Home, 3625 Jersey Ridge Rd, Davenport, IA 52807, on March 7, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the family. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to friends and family for the outpouring of support they've received during this difficult time. It's a testament to the love Kyle that leaves with us all.
