LaDonna Marie Heater

LaDonna Marie Heater passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 75. She was born on November 6, 1950, the daughter of Daniel and Leona Beaston. A celebration of life will be held on October 3rd from 1-5 p.m. at the Tanglewood Hills Pavilion Evergreen room at 4250 Middle Rd, Bettendorf, IA 52722.

LaDonna was a graduate of North Scott High School, class of 1969, and later attended Scott Community College in 1990. She has had several years of experience working at the Rock Island Arsenal in various departments, such as DFAS, JMTC, and CHRA, as well as working for the company J.I. Case.

Those who knew LaDonna would describe her as a sweet, loving, and caring individual. She loved her family and friends more than anything and had a passion for the adventures that life had to offer. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, the mountains, beautiful scenery, rides on the motorcycle, loved flowers, and spending time with her grand and great grandkids.

She is survived by her spouse, Hadley Heater Jr.; children Bobbi (Heater) Ricketts and Tim Heater; grandchildren Alyssa Mudd and Natasha Ricketts; great-grandchildren Austin Mudd and Keonna Smith; and siblings Daniel Beaston, Carolyn (Beaston) Gaughan, Roberta (Beaston) Burgess, Michael (Patty) Beaston, David Beaston, Diana (Beaston) Cole and husband Douglas, and Randy (Kelly) Beaston.
