Larry was born October 3, 1945 to Helen O. Miller and Willard “Woody” Kendall in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. He proudly served in the US Army and received the Bronze Star after serving in Vietnam. He married the love of his life, Jacki Popp, on December 27, 1992 in Davenport, Iowa.
He was the proud owner and operator of Kendall Trucking from 1974 until retiring in 2021. He loved his work and all the friends he made along the way.
Larry enjoyed all things cars including going to car shows and following the NASCAR races. He was so proud of the fact that he showed his dog, Xander, in dog shows to achieve his championship. He followed all the sports his grandchildren were in and always enjoyed hearing about them.
Larry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather that left behind family and many friends, including his wife, Jacki Kendall; daughter, Sharon (Wade Bertelsen) Thomson; son, Scott (Kimberly) Kendall; brother, Craig (L. Michelle Jones) Kendall; along with 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, and Godmother, Norma McClean.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Larry will be very missed by all his family and friends.
